Ben Soriano

Ben Soriano serves as the National Recruitment Chair of Outreach for Voices of Equity, where he advances national expansion efforts and acts as a liaison to leadership at the chapter level. He is a sophomore at Cornell University studying Biological Sciences with a minor in Psychology.

Ben is passionate about medicine, health equity, and public service. With a background in mental health and therapeutic listening work, he brings those experiences to leadership and mentorship. Beyond Voices of Equity, he pursues his interest in physiology in the Womack Lab, studying the evolution of frog skin across microhabitats and species. He is also a member of the Cornell chapter of Phi Delta Epsilon International Medical Fraternity, where he serves on the recruitment board with the goal of building a diverse and equitable body of students at Cornell, and in medicine at large. Through Voices of Equity, Ben is excited to carry these values of diversity, leadership, equity, and medicine forward, using VoE's platform to empower students on campuses worldwide.
