Michelle Pan

Michelle Pan serves as the Associate Director of Equity Archive at Voices of Equity, where she oversees the development and production of the Equity Archive: the organization's national hub for storytelling, student-led initiatives, and educational resources that help people understand and address health disparities. Through this work, Michelle is committed to making health equity resources easily accessible and to empowering students to become advocates for a more equitable healthcare system.

Michelle is an undergraduate at Cornell University studying Psychology on the pre-med track in the College of Arts and Sciences. She is passionate about the intersection of psychological and biological health and hopes to bring that perspective to compassionate, patient-centered care.

In addition to her work with Voices of Equity, Michelle conducts neuroscience research at the National Institute of Mental Health, where she studies the role of the endogenous opioid system in motivational behavior. She is also a member of the Laboratory of Neurobiology of Learning and Memory at Cornell, where she investigates the neural mechanisms underlying learning and memory. Outside of research, Michelle plays the flute and performs with the Cornell Wind Symphony and Flute Ensemble.
