Rhea Saranath

Rhea Saranath is a student at Tulane University studying Public Health, on the Pre-Med track. Her academic and professional interests sit at the intersection of health equity, science, and policy, shaped by experiences spanning clinical medicine, global community health, neuroscience research, and sustainability-focused business development. From founding and scaling a nonprofit addressing hygiene poverty to working in sports medicine with Tulane Athletics and conducting neuroimaging research on premature brain injury, Rhea’s work reflects a consistent commitment to translating knowledge into impact. She is particularly drawn to spaces where data, compassion, and systems-level thinking converge—whether in public health, medicine, or global development—and approaches her work with both rigor and humanity.
